do any maggots have fundrasing Ideas for ZombieNurse???

My wife ZombieNurse has a chance to go to Africa for 3 weeks this January and I am looking for ways to rasie money to help her out... If you would like to help out let us know your ideas..

She will get to work in a hospital in Tanzania and go on a safari.. she is passionate bout helping out the kids there the infant mortality rate is 96% in this country .. so help a girl live her dream and tell me your ideas so I can help get her there.. Thank you...

    how about a benefit? 50- 50 splits, ect. u ask people to cook, clean, just help! some 1 out there has been to a benefit fofr.cancer ect. get people to donate things, services, food, stuff. companies will donate stuff, it's a tax write off. I know from experience, my son had cancer, people saved his life. The did not know him and they still gave!!! People are good, sometimes they don't know they are, but the truth comes out. LOL, we can get her there!!!

    (woo 4 part comment!) i aggree with Witchie, although i dont have the money at the moment i'll donate. you mentioned to me car washes n such, thats a very good idea considering its spring and people's vehicals are all dusty from the winter n shit. i know for a music program im in we do fundraisers selling things like plant seeds, normally its like a group thing but im sure you can get the orderforms and such and you get a % of the profit.

    im not sure about the legal standings in your area but here you can go 'canning' or just ask the manager of a local food store or frequently used store if you can stand outside to collect money from willing donators. yard sales and cookie/lemonade stands are old school and work very well. if you have a bar or a restraunt that you frequently go to or know very well, get some form of canister or holder and decorate it with some stuff and put information on it and ask the owner if you can just put it by the cashier or somewhere people will see it and they can put money/change in. do that at as many places you can, restraunts, dinners, bars, ex.

    knowing you with bikes, i'd do a bike wash. cuz thats just fun. :) depending on the weather maybe somehow gettogether one of the benifit rides where you pay x ammount of money to ride with a group to a cirtan destanation or something. put up something on craigs list or paypal or ebay advertising it and people should be able to see it and donate money, and people around here who wish to donate will have somewhere to send it to (or just add ur addres or po box or something)

    if you want to get really creative and fun... (woo for krazy's crazy ideas here) you could put on a little back yard play, comical or something with your family and some neighborhood childrens and charge like $2 a ticket to parents who want to see their kids act and have fun. ( i saw it on a movie... so i dont know how well it will work)

    ill brainstorm some more ideas and get back to ya. good luck :)

    candy bar sales are not an option, what about asking all of your friens here? I am willing to give 200.00, what will everone else do. even 5 will help. there are enough of us maggots to make a difference for kid's. it doesn't matter what color, or gender, or anything. they're kids, what if they were your kids?
