I figured i would just voice my opinion about AHIG now that i have had a while to digest it. Slipknot did not disappoint. Corey has his growl back, and his lyrics bite as hard as ever. Their true musical talent was shown on this album a lot. As much as people have complained about what Slipknot have become, i cant help but think they are getting better. They are a band like I would want to be in, not necessarily pidgeon-holed into a genre. genres dont really exist its the bands we should look at. Anyway, this album is as epic as all the others, great from start to finish. Very in your face, then just makes you relive your saddest memories in Snuff, only to rip your face off with All Hope Is Gone. And I must mention that Gehenna floors me all the time, that riff is 9 levels of awesome
