Okay, so I hear there's an anti-maggot organization on youtube........
My friend is a part of an anti-maggot group on youtube and she is against maggots because she ASSUMES we all listen to mainstream bullshit and are whiney emos. I'm NOT an emo and I do NO listen to mainstream bullshit. She's a die-hard metalhead ans she talks about how Slipknot isn't real metal and how Slipknot sucks. Slipknot's music is for people who need help and understanding. Slipknot saved my life. I was going to kill myself and just by listening to Slipknot, I put the blade down. So for anybody who says Slipknot sucks is totally ignorant and wrong. We all have different opinions and tastes in music, but dont hate a band or hate a certain people because YOU don't like that band. She also says how she hates a maggots not as people, but beause we dont exactly lik her taste. It really isn't fair to dislike a person because their music taste is different than yours. Thats as if you hate your mom because she likes country and she does'nt like Cannibal Corpse. It's naturally fucked up. Trust me, I can keep going on. I could mention how she joined that anti-maggot group to "scare" maggots, but thats another story. I just want my friends and family's opinion:
Is it right to be against a certain group of people because their musical taste is different than yours?
