KISS tickets came in the mail today! WWWWWAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Hell Yeah!
Completely excited beyond all belief. Classes are now finally over and made the Dean's List. So now I can just chill for a bit and have some fun with the fam and friends. I taught my mom to play Guitar Hero yesterday. That was a riot! I took a picture of her on my phone and I'll get it up here soon! I'm slowly, but surely turning my mom into a rocker! HAHHA! She's just as excited as I am that we're going to see KISS. I played some Motorhead for her last night and she was surprisingly digging it! HAHA! Not bad for a strictly country girl! HAHA! Had dinner with the folks last night and some fun times.
Then went to go see Halloween II with a friend. He wanted to go Thursday, but missed it and didn't want to go alone. Now, don't get me wrong. I like the flick. But after seeing it the second time and not chalking it up to lack of sleep, I'm not too terribly impressed with it. Killings are brutal, yes, but almost to the point of being excessive in its repetition. I'm not going to go into it too much, but the White Horse gimmick made the movie drag on a bit. There were alot of things that just really didn't fit with the whole film. It just didn't have the Halloween feel to it. So yeah, I'll buy it on DVD sure, but it won't be one of my top ten. That's for sure. Maybe my tastes are starting to change the older I get, I guess. HAHA! Just sometimes more isn't always better.
