Needed a m uch needed HOLIDAY
wELL, i am writing to you all in a Holiday Inn Express....far from my home. My son had a tennis tournament so I took the opportunity to make the trip and get away from home for two days. I really needed the space.
My marriage is very much troubled right now, hence the break in tension.
My husband got laid off, but will be transferred to another location out of state, soon. Not soon enough, though. It is definitely challenging. So I am here on the laptop, enjoying my time on the internet so I can blog, email, and chat for a few hours before I go back to my .....home.
I've also got a lot of work to do for my new job, so I need all the support I can get.
I have spoken with my family and have prepared myself for a major transition on the fly. If I can make it that long. Just trying to stablize, before I make my move. Things are obviously not going to change or get better, so I am taking the necessary precautions to be able to survive a great escape.
I just want my life back. I want more for my son. I want us to let go of this anchor that we are dragging through the sand, trying to get to our next step in life. There are many things that can be said, but I am not going to divulge. Just know that I am taking my time making the best decision for me and my boy.
We need to be happy, too.
