They're both awesome but I do like Slipknot more than Stone Sour! Slipknot are definitely more raw & angry which I love. Corey & Jim are awesome musicians/songwriters/performers but I love them more with Slipknot! I have days where I need to hear Slipknot. Unfortunately, Stone Sour cannot take me to the place Slipknot does, if you know what I mean!
Yeah they are. Their not as hard as Slipknot, but I'm sure that was the whole point for Corey and Jim. This is their thing when Slipknot is on their downtime. I'm with Wendy, I could not chose between either bands, because it would be like betraying the guys from 1 band over the other. Do you not like Stone Sour?
they are both awsome. but my heart and soul is for slipknot. nothing can fullfill that need like slipknot can.

I think they're in the same league, but their style is different. I love Slipknot, but I love Stone Sour too and if I had to choose between the two, I don't think I could. I'm waiting to see Stone Sour live, but they will have to really pull it out of the hat to equal Slipknot on stage (they were epic at Download last year). W
