Slipknot

ok so i finally got around to doin this..... srry it took so long been really busy lately lol... n yes i will hav photos up very soon :)

ok so first off i went with my oldest sister Nicole who is also an ot9 member n my younger sis andy we all got there late sadly because of a bridal shower which really pissed me off but luckily it was close to tinley park :) but i was seein slipknot n that was all that mattered, anyways when we first got there we met up with my sisters friends n at this point it is already around 5 o'clock so we missed sid's performance so we decided to wait for the 6 pm one... since we got there late we didn't really know who was playin n who we missed which was another thing that got on my nerves but i didn't let it get to me...

so we started walkin around we didn't really bother goin by the hot topic stage but did we passed by the Jagermeister stage n saw that walls of jericho were on stage n so i was kinda was watchin them a bit... i got a few pics of sid n he was awesome it was also amusing to see the motocross riders..

well once sid was done me n my 2 sisters decided to go get some band shirts now seein how we came late most of the places already were runnin low on certain shirts n sizes... the first place we went to was the tent for slipknot they were basically sold out of most of the shirts, we tried a second place they didn't hav the shirt i wanted we finally got to the third place near the main stage n there was a huge crowd of ppl tryin to buy sk shirts so we waisted a good hour at least tryin to get shirts after we finally got them i wanted to see if machine head was on yet we got to their stage we only saw 2 of their songs.

so then i was just like fuck lets go get our seats we get to the main stage n dragonforce was on so i missed mastodon as well which sucked... so when we got there we only saw the last 3 songs of dragonforce n of course they closed with through the fire n flames... but we had to stand cuz ppl were standin on our seats luckily they left after dragonforce was done.. so finally we got in our seats they were pretty good n close but i wasn't really pleased with them but o well.

disturbed came on n they were awesome really enjoyed it... i noticed tho that there were a lot of ppl up by the barrier in front but they were standin in the aisle but i didn't pay much attention to it... i was a little mad tho cuz the sound system made david's voice sound higher then it really is all in all the equipment was miked badly so it didn't sound very well but hey i still had a good time so finally once disturbed was done i noticed that some of the ppl in the aisle had left but other ppl were goin up there for slipknot so i told nicole we should go up there so we did we were up there for a while n at one point started talkin to this one guy who had been a maggot back before sk was even that big told me how he use to only pay 10 bucks to see them live.... (srry for gettin of subject) but then this security guard came n started forcin ppl back to their seats so we went back then we decided we would hav to rush back.. the lights turned off n we rushed back down there...

slipknot came on n i was right in front of chris!!!!! i got to the barrier pretty easily n i stayed there the entire time!!! chris as awesome he kept flickin ppl off a little over to the right of me n at one point hris was look in my direction n then he slanted his head so i did the same he pretended to slice his throat i did the same n then he spit i tried to spit back but failed my mouth was too dry :( but still it was awesome got a lot of get pics of him!!! sadly joey was too far way so i couldn't get any of him but his drum solo was awesome as always... not a big fan of corey wearin the skinny jeans tho n in all it was an amazing show but for some odd reason i feel a little disappointed don't know y n honestly i really wish i didn't miss there last tour but there is nothing i can do about that, point bein i saw slipknot live FINALLY n it was a great show had a great time n i was sore for days lol if u hav any questions just ask n yeah pictures will be up soon i promise!!! :)
