Slipknot Announce Headlining Shows with Deftones

September 3, 2009

Grammy Award winning hard rock powerhouse Slipknot have announced a string of fall tour dates, including some special appearances. The band will embark on a three week run in October, hitting mostly west coast markets. Slipknot will headline the Cypress Hill Smokeout in San Bernardino, CA on 10/24. The tour will end with Slipknot headlining the first annual Trinity of Terrors at The Pearl Concert Theater in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Halloween. This run of dates will also include two previously postponed shows from last month. Sacramento’s own, Deftones will provide support beginning in Portland, OR through San Bernardino, CA

    I couldnt have said it any better myself. No apology, no set makeup shows, fucking canada? Seriously? The midwest is their hometown, I refuse to believe they will simply finish up in October. Regardless of corey getting married in november. I just dont see them as catering ONLY to the west coast. It just isnt them.

    Ski_2007 yes there not going to be making the milwaukee show they thought they were going to be able to make it up (thats wat they said) and they couldnt so yes u got wait till whenever they have another tour

    First they tell me that they will be making up the show in milwaukee, Does this mean that there will not be a making the milwaukee show?

    Cancelling shows in the Midwest for Canada, not saying anything about it to us, not rescheduling, and not even an apology from the band (other than the corporate bullshit in the papers).

    Shitty, Slipknot. We drive for hours to see you. We pay to be in your fan club for god sakes.

    So everybody knows who are wanting to know if the milwaukee show is going to get rescheduled it got canceled offically today and u can get your refund for the ticket below is wat my venue sent me in a email today.

    The Slipknot concert at the Eagles Ballroom has been officially canceled. Slipknot has rescheduled two of their canceled dates on the west coast but unfortunately, they will not be able to come back to the Midwest this tour to play a rescheduled date at The Rave. We will have a new date on a new tour at some point in the future. Please return your tickets to the place of purchase for a refund The Rave is sorry for any inconvenience.

    I dont know whos making the decisions for Slipknot but it does not matter they cant cancel a midwest show and then leave us hanging like this... To lose touch with us is like slapping your mothere in the face. Where would Slipknot be with out us??? Not headlining Download thats for sure... or doind any kind of touring at all!!! Fuck canada and the rest of the world for that matter because they can wait... Iv been a fan since 99 and iI was born in Iowa. Iv driven many hours with work in the morning to see their shows... shis is bull. I hope they see these comments. Give us some Info guys!!!
