  it sucks we lost to shinedown but you know what? in all honesty and fairness Slipknot gets wayyyy more publicity and attention than shindown and wins many more awards than they do, which might make this sound worse but it's not. it's just public recognition of dead memories. and the vid IS recognized all over the world. everybody knows who slipknot is, i honestly forgot shinedown existed. let'em have their 15 minutes.

  omg. I failed Slipknot. D: I didnt vote for like 5 days because I got the computer taken away!! and to fucking shinedown too!! oommgg I feel soo bad right now. :((

  at least we won Kerrang! awards/voting. This could be just a little present to the 9. We complete each other-maggot+Slipknot. Imagine what would our lives be without their great music. Very, very emotinally poor & uncompleted. We will be rocking SIC in next 100 years. Slipknot is unique

  I wish i knew Diesel but sadly I don't. And when this thing first started, someone had made a comment about how it didn't matter and true...in the grand scheme of things, no this didn't really matter. Why? Because we the great and loyal maggots that we are, don't need a stupid voting contest to tell us who the best is right? And neither do the (sic)est band ever! Their music will still go on to fucking blow minds everywhere and everyday! It is just sad to me though because after all they have done for us, I wanted to give them this award. They more than deserve it as I'm sure you ALL agree!

  you,me, and few thousand other didnt-hardCORE true lifetime maggots,but many others-maybe few 100.000 did!Head UP, another chance will come.Hey people, I still dont understand 2 things: why didnt the competition/voting end at 0:00 (we had 4.000 more votes at that moment vs Shinedown) 2nd how is it possible that paramore has 6.000.000 and more&more votes-did someone find a bug in that website & used it to make more votes then possible.I know similar thing happened with Limp Bizkit on MTV site.I am not smart enough to answer how,but maybe!Everything is possible

  ugh I'm so disappointed!!! I mean, it would be practically impossible to beat out Paramore but we would of had it right up to them. I mean, I just don't...understand how we lost to shinedown?!?!?! I'm sorry, I let Slipknot down...we all did :(

  Corey would say: Just look at yaa!!! paramore has 6.000.000 votes, probably from all those emo girls&boys,and vampire wannabes.It is funny that a band unfamous like that had more votes that Green Day. If we had won this battle, we could easily beat Papa Roach-one of my favorite bands,but when it comes to voting-I prefer Slipknot million times more then any other bands-forever.It is pointless to say anything more.I hope moderators will find out a way to inform every fucking maggot on this site about any future voting-as we see-just a post on NEWS section isnt enough.We need to the whole maggot army next time.Stay SIC my friends & keep rocking

  I HATE! Shinedown with their stupid album Sound of MyASS. We lost,their fans used auto clicker too.Fuse.tv slowed their connection because of bandwidth/traffic,they were overloaded.I thought just my connection sucked.There were 50 with that stupid CASTING my vote long intervals,I had to restart my browser few times.Many votes werent casted at all, probably-but finally we lost because of lack of maggot-voters.Sorry my friends it is true.But I thought we WON after 0:00,it is stupid & strange that countdown went backwards.After 4h of backwards time,I quited.I posted entry on my blog about auto clicker,rarely someone used it.Questions were & are welcome
